Bobby Earl Hundley, age 76, of Shelby Couty, Alabama, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025. Born on March 12, 1949, in Shelby County, he was a lifelong resident of the area and cherished the community he called home.
He was baptized and joined Freewill Baptist Church.
Atter graduating from high school, Bobby joined the Job Corps, where he began developing the strong work ethic that would define his career. He worked diligently in janitorial services for the Shelby County School System for many years, retiring after a long dedicated service to students and staff in his community.
Outside of his work, Bobby found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was a lover of old country western movies and could often be found enjoying a classic film. He also shared a special bond with his brothers with whom he enjoyed watching those western classics and wrestling.
He is survived by three sons with Juanita Jessie; Bobby Earl Jessie, Billy Jessie, Craig Jessie; brothers, Willie (Mary) McNeal, James Michael (Lorene) McNeal;
James Charles (Wanda) McNeal, Glenn Spence, Neal McNeal; sisters, Bobbie Ruth Wilson and Sallie Mae Dowdell; four grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones.
He was proceeded in death by his father: Laws Hundley, his mother, Catherine Spence, sisters, Edith Hundley, Glenda Kay Spence, Emma Bullock and brothers,
Danny Ray Spence, Charles Edward Spence and Billy Rae McNeal.
Bobby was known for his hardworking nature and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew him.
