Boise Lee Oden Jr,
“Sonny” aka “Big Bull” was Born on
September 4, 1944, in Opelika, Al to the late Boise Oden Sr. And the late Gussie Mae Gentry Oden
He was united in marriage to the love of his life Willie Ann Swift Oden on September 29, 1964. With this union they had five Children.
Boise was a Hardworking man providing for his family. He was known for collecting old money, guns, antiques and Trading at the West Over Flea Market
He was employed at the City of Alabaster Water Works for 7 years. Later he became a supervisor
for the City of Pelham Water Works where he retired after 40 plus years of service.
Boise has eight siblings, Tommy Charles Oden, Rose (Thomas) Parker and Jenny Lynn Adams.
4 siblings proceed him in death Robert Oden, James Oden, Lela Mae Oden Buckhannon and Essie (Anthony) Buckhannon. One Grandson proceed him in death Lorenzo Darnez Oden
Boise departed this life on February 17, 2022, at his home in Center point Al.
Boise leaves to cherish his memories: his beloved and dedicated wife of 57 years Willie Ann Oden.
Three sons: Alvy Oden, Boise III (Sarah) Oden and Dennis Oden. Two Daughters: Gussie Darlene Oden and Latesha (Derek) Bishop. 12 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren. One Aunt Betty Jean Gentry.

Viewing will be held Friday, February 25, 2022, from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.
A Graveside Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Galilee Cemetery in Saginaw, Al.
