Bonlyn's Story,
Bonnie Lynn Cohill Chapple was born on December 16, 1962, to Bernice and Jackson Cohill, Jr. Bonnie was baptized in Jesus' name at Emmanuel Temple Holiness Church at an early age. Bonnie was educated in the Shelby County school system. She was a graduate of Thompson High School. Bonnie departed this life on August 31, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice and Jackson and her only child, Jason Lamar Cohill. She leaves to cherish her memory one grandson Jeremiah Lamar Cohill of Montevallo; four sisters Valerie and Jacqueline Cohill of Sandy Springs, GA, Kendra Thomas of Pelham, AL and Alene Cohill of Alabaster, AL; stepmother, Bobbie Cohill and one brother, Undra Hall of Alabaster; 4 nephews, Jackson Cohill, III of United Kingdom, Michael Merchant of Bay Minette, AL, Maurice Merchant of Alabaster, AL and Dominique Hall, Cincinnati, OH; two nieces, Jackie Cohill of Sandy Springs, GA and Manisha Thomas of Pelham, AL; Great niece and nephews Jaleiá and Jacob of Sandy Springs, GA, Jago of United Kingdom, Michael of Bay Minette, Micah and Xavier of Pelham; Two aunts, four uncles and a host of cousins and friends. Special friends, Sandy Cohill, Belinda Oden and Cynthia Russell. Special son, Christian McNeal. Special Daughter Brittney Wagoner.
Graveside Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Liberty Cemetery in Alabaster.
