Edward Patterson was born on August 14, 1961, in Columbiana, AL to the parentage of Ed and Marion Patterson.
He gave his life to God at an early age and was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church in Columbiana, AL.
He transitioned from this life on December 17, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ed Patterson and Marion Cross.
He leaves to cherish his memories: three sisters, Faye North, Mae Patterson, Lois Starks; one deceased sister, Carla Marie Cross; two brothers, Emmett Patterson, Willie Wolf; six beloved children, Shontua (Torsha) Ray, Nicholas Buie, Tristan Buie, Austin Cotton, Latoria Patterson, Cameron Cotton; a host of grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins; a special friend Derek Herndon; and many more friends and coworkers (too many to name).
