Gertrude S Tolbert

Gertrude S.G. Tolbert was born to the parentage of Agnes Smith and the (late) Raleigh Smith on July 22, 1948.

She was a graduate of Thompson High School (Alabaster, AL) at the age of 17.

Gertrude retired at the age of 73 From the University of Montevallo Cafeteria Hall (around 2021.)

She was preceded in death by: her sons, Laresse L. Garner, George Henry Garner Jr.; sister, Erline Smith; brothers, Jesse Lee Smith, John Henry Smith, Ellis Iven Smith and grandson, Denorrious Darner Garner.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her spouse of 23 years, Rodney Heron;

Her daughters, Kandy Renea Garner of Helena, AL; Anitra Meshell (Rodney) Patterson of Columbiana, AL;

Siblings, Raleigh (Francis) Jackson of Humble, TX, 

Bertha Smith of Wilsonville, AL,
