Henry Orlando Jones

Henry Orlando Jones was born August 7, 1975, to Olonia B. Jones & the late, Henry Tolbert. He confessed Christ at an early age at Ward Chapel AME Church. He attended Linda Nolan Learning Center then continued his education at Montevallo High School, where he graduated in 1994. Henry was a true sports fanatic. He loved football, especially Alabama Football. He also loved basketball & baseball. He often traveled with the University of Montevallo Baseball Team with Coach Riesher, where they affectionately named him "Skillet Head". He was a kind hearted person, to know him was to love him because he always had a smile on his face. Henry transitioned on Monday, November 19, 2024. He was preceded in death by his nephew brother, Jimmy Jones, who loved him dearly. He leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted mother, Olonia Jones; sisters; Avery (Ricky) Taylor of Calera, AL, Susan (Robert) Chappell of Montgomery, AL, Laura Jones of Montevallo, AL, Shelia (Randy) Williams of Anniston, AL, brothers, Durand Tolbert of Wilton, AL, Randy (Andria) Tolbert of Chelsea, AL, two aunts, Rev. Laura (Herman) Peoples of Montevallo, AL, Gwendolyn Washington of TX; three uncles, Willie B. Jones of TN, James Tolbert of Alabaster, AL, Winston Tolbert of TX; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends, a special step mom, Andranette K. Tolbert, step siblings, Carsel (Tasha) King, Leonartis (Tamara) King, and Alexandra (John) Cobb.
