JaMarcus Dionne Crews was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Tuesday April 5, 1983 to the late DeArthur Crews Sr. and Mildred Perry Crews. He was raised in Brent, Alabama and was the fourth child of 7 children.
JaMarcus graduated from Bibb County High School, then attended Auburn University at Montgomery, Alabama where he received a BS Degree in Business.
He joined Mt. Ebell Baptist church at an early age. He later joined Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church where he served faithfully until his health started to decline. He passed at the age of 37 on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 7:29 a.m.
JaMarcus was preceded in death by his parents, the late DeArthur and Mildred Crews.
He leaves to cherish his memory a wife, LaWanda Gail Crews and one son Marcellus Crews and daughter, Amilyia (Myia) Farrington, one grand-son Zy-Eirre Goode and Godson, Naziah Heard (Centreville, Alabama)
Three brothers, DeArthur Crews, Jr (Carla), Millbrook, Alabama; Adam D. Crews (Lenora); Rosharon, TX, and Brian L Crews (Demetria), Shreveport, Louisiana.
Three sisters, Shirley A. Crews Taylor (George); Houston, Texas, Marilyn J. Crews, Katy Texas and Tina Crews Carouthers; San Antonio, Texas.
Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church yard of Present-Truth Church 854 Mill Street Centreville, AL 35040 with interment at Duff Cemetery Ferman dr. Brent. Apostle Calvin Meadows - Officiating
