Joe Albert Harris Obituary
Joe Albert Harris 
was born to Warrick R. Harris and
Alice Baker Harris on February 13, 1945 in Calera, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Alice, son Keith Anthony, and eight siblings.
He confessed his love for Christ at an early age in his childhood church, First Baptist Church Calera. Joe served in the choir, the missionary society, and was ordained as a deacon of the church on January 29, 2012.
Joe loved his family and was affectionately called Uncle Joe or Uncle Bones by all of his nieces and nephews.
He leaves to cherish his memories, four sons: Rodney (Flim) Harris, Johnathan Kelley (Rosallen), Bryant Harris (Nicole), and Joe Harris Jr. (Kethia); one daughter, Lola Harris-Brown; two sisters Carolyn Webb and Roslyn Harris-Gregory; 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Graveside Services for the immediate family will be held Friday, March 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Cemetery in Calera . Rev. Willie Patterson – Officiating
