John Allen, Jr.

John Allen, Jr. was born November 24, 1950, to the late John Allen, Sr. and Zelda Falls Allen in Jacksonville, NC.

 John was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, Jemison, AL. He served in the United States Army, and was retired from C & I Alabama Holdings. He was a graduate of Jacksonville High School, Jacksonville, NC and attended Coastal Carolina Community College.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Wayne Allen.

 Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Teresa Allen; four sons, Calvin (LaToya ) Sharpless,Staunton, VA, Nathaniel Rhodes, Topsail Beach, NC; Christopher Naugher and Marcus Braswell, Calera, AL;one daughter, Wakina Naugher, Calera, AL. Brother, William (Teverlyn) Allen, Birmingham, AL. four Brothers-in-law, Lester (Celeste) Strong, Jemison, AL, Edward (Betty) Strong, Birmingham, AL, Phillip Naugher, Montgomery, AL James Naugher, Montevallo, AL.  Six Sisters-in-law, Linda Chapman, Montgomery, AL, Joyce (Elder Abram) Taylor, Montgomery, AL, Janice (Richard) Childs, Jemison, AL Shirley Ware, Bessemer, AL, Allison (Sidney) Washington, Springville, AL and Charlotte Pugh, Montgomery, AL.Grandchildren, Anthony Rhodes, Cheyenne Potter, Christopher Butera, Cameron Naugher, Marquese DeMoss, Tytiana Naugher, Christiana Naugher, Raven Naugher, JaMaya Childs, Malayah Sharpless,Kenya Sharpless, Iyana Sharpless,Kelis Naugher, Kyanna Braswell, Nevaeh Hammond; One great-grand, Tylan Brown. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 6 at 11:00 a.m at Alabama National Cemetery with Military Honors. Rev. Anthony Vines - Officiating.
