OBITUARY

Mrs. Maggie McCarter Griffin

was born to the late Robert and Lizzie McCarter on September 22, 1940.  She was married to Floyd Griffin for 49 years.  Mrs. Griffin was a member of Grace and Truth Apostolic Church in Bessemer, Alabama under the leadership of her brother Bishop Robert McCarter.

Mrs. Griffin peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on July 20, 2021.  She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Loving memories will be cherished by her three children, Lonnie Earl McCarter, Marcia Griffin, and Jerome Griffin; three sisters, Ella Mae Peeples, Pastor Dorothy (Clint) Burns, and Betty Culberson; two brothers, Robert (Melanye) McCarter, Terry (Alicia) McCarter; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held Monday, July 26, 2021 at the Good Shepherd           from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.

Graveside Celebration will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 11;00 A.M. at Liberty Cemetery in Alabaster.
