Mary Mayfield Obituary
Mary Charles Mayfield was born July 11, 1956, to the late Clarence and Sallie C. Mayfield.
She confessed Christ at an early age and attended Union Missionary Baptist Church under the Leadership of Pastor Skylar Patterson.
Mary was educated in the Shelby County School System.
She retired from Grede Foundry Company in Columbiana.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Clarence and Sallie Mayfield; sister, Maxine Riggins; brothers, William and Stephen Mayfield.
She departed this life on Monday, May, 1, 2023 at her home in Columbiana, Alabama.
Mary leaves to cherish her precious memories: daughter, Melinda Mayfield; son, Anthony (Teneshia) Mayfield; two grandchildren, Dontavius and Izrial Mayfield; one aunt, Julie Ann Garrett; sister-in-law, Glenda Mayfield; a host of nieces and nephews; a special friend, Matthew Perry.
Viewing will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Union Baptist Church in Columbiana with interment at Wilsonville Community Cemetery in Wilsonville.
