Maxine Mayfield Riggins Obituary

Maxine Mayfield Riggins

was born to the parentage of the late Clarence Mayfield and the late Sallie Mayfield  on Wednesday, May 26, 1954 in Shelby County, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Mayfield.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Herbert Riggins.

She passed away on Saturday, February 22 2020.

She leaves to cherish her memories four children, Frederic Mayfield, Davida Mayfield, Raymond Mayfield , and  Diana Riggins (Kevin) Killings; One brother William (Glenda) Mayfield and one sister Mary Mayfield;  a special friend, Levi Garrett; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who shall miss her dearly.  A Special thanks to Maxine Edwards.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday Feb. 29, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Wilsonville with burial with burial at Wilsonville Cemetery. Pastor Larry Pickett - Officiating
