Teresa Hunter (Hunter) Arrington

Teresa Hunter Arrington was born Monday, April 3, 1961 to the late John Edward Hunter, Sarah Hunter Doaks, and raised by her loving father Leon Doaks Sr.

One brother preceded her in death, John (Dooley) Hunter Jr. and nephew Herman (P) Hunter Jr.

She baptized in Jesus names and filled with the Holy Ghost at Faith Temple Deliverance Center, under the leadership of Bishop Johnny Harris.

She departed this life on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Baptist Shelby Medical Center in Alabaster, Al.

She leaves to mourn, a loving daughter: Shanice Lakeya Hunter. Her three brothers Herman Hunter Sr. of Alabaster, Alabama, Benjamin Doaks Sr. and Leon Doaks Sr. of Birmingham, Alabama. Her three sisters Angela M. Doaks of Atlanta, Georgia, Mechelle (Erwin) Jones of Clanton, Alabama, and Barbara (Carl) Jones of Pelham, Alabama.

Nieces: Christina R. (Hunter) Pritchet, Tiffany L. Hunter, DeAndra (Trevis) Paschel, Jimecka N. Green, Alexiusa N. Jones, and Kiera Doaks.

Nephews: Derrico T. Doaks, John T. Doaks Sr., Benjamin L. Doaks Jr., Jeremy L. Doaks, Jeffrey L. Demoss, Leon Doaks III, Carl J. Jones Jr., Erwin Jameze (Jamila) Jones, and Marcel J. Jones

Aunts: Willie (Frank) Taylor, Marie Taylor, Susie Warren, Emma (Charles) Hardins, Louis Phillips, Patricia Clayton, and Odessa Langham, One Uncle: George Spight, and a host of family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday May 27, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Alabaster with burial at Keystone Cemetery.
