Tommy Charles Oden
Tommy Charles “Tank” Oden was born January 22, 1953, to Gussie Mae Oden and Boise Lee Oden Sr.
He attended Alabaster High School. Tommy Charles had a love for baseball in his younger years. He played for a team called The Terminators where he served as the pitcher. Tommy Charles had a love for football. He was a baseball and an avid Alabama and Pittsburg Steelers fan. Tommy Charles loved his family dearly.
Tommy Charles was preceded in death by his parents Boise Lee Oden Sr and Gussie Mae Gentry Oden, two sisters Lela Mae Oden Buckhannon and Essie Buckhannon, three brothers Robert Oden, James Oden Sr and Boise Oden Jr.
Tommy Charles departed his earthly life on May 3, 2023 at The Healthcare Center at Buck Creek in Alabaster, AL. He was surrounded by family as he departed.
Tommy Charles leaves to cherish and treasure his memory his two sisters Rose (Thomas) Parker and Jenny Lynn Adams. Brother-in-law Anthony Buckhannon and sister-in-laws Willie Ann Oden and Princess Mae Oden and a host of relatives and friends. Special nieces Farrah Adams,Connie Brown and Kenya Parker, who often took snacks and food to the nursing home. A special nephew Jeffery Adams and two special friends Mr. Ivy Penhale and Justin Gentry.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Galilee Cemetery in Saginaw, AL.
THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VIEWING OF MR. TOMMY CHARLES ODEN.
