Tracey Loushon Ellis was born January 22, 1974, to the late Carolyn Carter and James Ellis.
She was baptized and confessed Christ at an early age.
Tracey made her transition from earth to heaven Saturday, February 11, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn Carter & James Ellis, and her daughter, Fantasia McNeal.
She leaves to cherish her memories: five children, Amir Ellis, JoShonna Hearn, Jada Smith, Amina Briggs, and Queen Farrow; three grandchildren, A’Miriyah Ellis, Nylah Rhodes, and Tavares Gibson Jr.; her father, Andrew (Hattie) Bivins; one sister, Candace (Richard) Purifie; five brothers, Carl Cater, Larry Carter, Luvell (Asia) Bivins, Mark Bivins, and Donald (Monica) Bivins; four aunts, Denise Cleckly, Gloria (Cova) Green, Mary Pickett, and Kathy Martin; a great aunt, Rosia (Bobby) Dowdell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held Friday, February 24, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 12:00 noon at Emmanuel Temple Holiness Church with burial at Liberty Cemetery.
