Zoe Nikkole Dukes was born on August 11, 1999 in Birmingham, AL to Phillip Dukes and Detra Stallworth. She was the first born of three siblings in which she carried the role of the oldest well. Zoe was a wonderful daughter, dedicated sister, and an amazing friend. Zoe departed this life on November 21, 2021 at Grand View Hospital from difficulties of Covid-19.
Zoe grew up in the small town of Wilton, AL. Zoe’s grandmother, Betty, named her and her name meant life, life more abundantly. Anybody who knew her or came in contact with her knew that she was full of life. At an early age Zoe showed her love for people, no matter who you were. Zoe was most passionate about children and cooking. Her goals were one day to own her own Daycare Centers. she was full of life
Cherishing her fondly and forever, Zoe leaves: her parents Detra Stallworth and Phillip Dukes. Her siblings Zsaria and Zion Dukes. Her grandparents Betty and Aaron Jackson of Wilton, AL, Andrew Brown of Jemison, AL and Gwendolyn Brown of Tarrant, AL. Her Uncles, Darrick (Tracey) Stallworth, Tuscaloosa, AL Du’Run Stallworth, Wilton, AL, and Jermel (Monquelle) Shamburger, Helena, AL. Her Aunts Marietta Fields, Alabaster, AL, Monica (Barry) Cole England, Erica Brown, Tarrant, AL and Amber Brown, Centerpoint, Al, Adrain (Terrance) Pearson of Calera and Cheryl Devinner of Montevallo, AL .A special sister-cousin, Candice Fields, Her Godfather, Jerome (Ronita) Patrick and her very first God-Son,Vaneal Deon Brantley, Jr.
Viewing will be held Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 2;00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. at The Good Shepherd.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday at 12;00 Noon at Upper Room Church in Wilton, AL.
Interment at Montevallo Cemetery.
