Obituary

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1

Dwight Lewis William

“A TIME TO BE BORN”

On May 18, 1982, God blessed the late Willie and Johnnie Devinner Williams with a healthy baby boy! They named him Dwight Lewis Williams and he was such a joy! Dwight was the second child and son, out of the four children born.

“A TIME TO PLANT”

The seeds of Education for Dwight were scattered in the Shelby County Public School System, where he attended both, Montevallo and Alabaster City Schools. He later obtained his G.E.D.

“A TIME TO WORK”

Dwight was afforded the opportunity to work at Brown Moulding Co, of Montevallo, AL, where he learned how to make money on the clock, until that job came to a stop. He also tried his luck with making music with some of Montevallo’s local talent. He later became a landscaper.

“A TIME TO CHERISH”

Dwight leaves to cherish his life memory:  Two beautiful sisters, Teresa and Stephanie Williams and one handsome brother, Lamont (Melissa Montgomery) Williams, three nieces, five nephews, four uncles, six aunts, and a host of other family and friends.

******Dwight was known by many for his numerous nicknames to include: “ Whiteboy”, “White”, “Slim B”, “Slim”, “ Doc”, “Pot’na”,” Cuz”, “Fam”….etc

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at ward Chapel A.M.E. Church in Montevallo with burial at Montevallo Cemetery. Rev. Monty Royster Pastor/Officiating.
